In the past year, I have sold two different houses, with wildly different results. I was determined to find an agent who would and could sell the house without allowing it to linger. I looked at several websites, including the Weichert site. When I reviewed Teresa’s bio, I noticed two things. First, she was selling houses in the current market, not relying on sales before the bubble burst to make herself look better in her bio. Second, she was from Wayne, so she would know how to set the price point in town.Teresa has plenty of style, but she was all business She would work the listing internally first, including with her own clients, then list it on GSMLS and work out into the general community. When we honed the concepts, she basically told me that we would sign the listing agreement, and her goal was to have the house sold in 3 days. She seemed so certain, but I remained skeptical. Within hours of the first full day of listing, she had 4 showings lined up. Two hours later, there were 4 more scheduled. All in all, 9 showings and 6 offers in 36 hours, and we had a buyer and a contract for $14,000 over the list price. There was no smoke and mirrors act with Teresa. No used car salesman tactics. It became abundantly clear that if she said it, you could take it to the bank. Selling a home can be a difficult, emotional experience. So to your other potential customers, I offer this: go to a therapist to get your hand held. Go to Teresa to get your house sold.
